Code of Conduct · Effective September 23, 2026
How we treat each other.
Local Chemistry works because every room feels safe, warm and worth walking into. These are the expectations for every member at every experience and in any follow-up contact.
Be respectful
Treat every guest, host and venue team member with courtesy. No harassment, intimidation, discrimination, slurs or unwanted physical contact.
Take no for an answer
Interest is always mutual and always optional. If someone declines a conversation, a drink, a number or a follow-up, accept it the first time. Do not keep contacting anyone who has not responded or has asked you to stop.
Drink like a guest, not a regular
No one is ever pressured to drink alcohol, and no one should ever pressure anyone else. Know your limits; the host or venue may ask anyone who is intoxicated to leave. Never drive impaired.
Be who you said you are
Only request an invitation if you are 25 or older and currently single, and keep what you tell us accurate.
Keep it personal, not commercial
No selling, recruiting or promoting products, services or other groups at experiences or through contacts made at them.
Respect privacy
Do not share other members' names, photos, contact details or personal information without their permission, and do not photograph other guests without asking.
Take care of the venue
Our partner venues make these evenings possible. Be kind to the staff, tip thoughtfully and treat the space as you would a friend's home.
If something feels wrong
Tell the host at the event, or email mark@localchemistryaz.com. Reports are handled personally and discreetly. We may remove anyone from an experience or end a membership for a violation of this code. In an emergency, call 911.
